Every page has its own shapes, lengths, charts and amounts. The pictures below are real pages made by the generator.

1. Fractions

Ages 7 to 11

Bars, circles and grids cut into equal parts. At ages 7-8 the child writes the fraction that is shaded, with halves, thirds and quarters. At ages 8-9 the shapes have up to 8 parts and some fractions are to color. At ages 9-11, half of the shapes are to read and half to color, with up to 12 parts.

At ages 10-11, every other page is about equal fractions: color the same amount in a second bar cut into 2 or 3 times more parts, and complete the equal fraction.

2. Measure with a ruler

Ages 6 to 9

Five objects above a ruler: the child measures each one and writes its length. In the English book the ruler is in inches (whole inches up to 5 inches, then half inches at ages 8-9). In the other languages it is in centimeters (whole centimeters up to 12, then half centimeters at ages 8-9).

3. Charts and graphs

Ages 5 to 9

At ages 5-8, the child counts each kind of shape on the page and colors one square per shape in a chart: 3 kinds of shapes at ages 5-6, 4 kinds after. At ages 8-9, the page is a bar chart over five days of the week, with questions: the value on one day, the tallest and shortest bars, the total and a difference.

4. Money

Ages 6 to 11

At ages 6-9, the child adds the coins and bills in each box and writes the total: a few small coins at ages 6-7, more coins at ages 7-8, then coins and small bills at ages 8-9. With US dollars, for example, that is pennies, nickels and dimes at ages 6-7, quarters from ages 7-8, then dollar bills at ages 8-9. The coins and bills are the ones of the chosen currency.

At ages 9-11, the page is about change: a price tag and the money paid, and the child works out the change. Prices are in steps of 50 cents at ages 9-10 and of the smallest everyday coin at ages 10-11 (5 cents for most currencies).

One worksheet, many levels: money from 6 to 11

The money page starts with a few small coins and ends with making change from a bill.

A book with several levels has one section per level, in order, with only the worksheets that exist at that level.

Choose the currency of the money pages

Before you create the book, you choose the currency of the money pages: US dollar, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, British pound, euro, Swiss franc or Mexican peso. The currency of the book language is offered first: the US dollar for a book in English, the euro for the other languages.

Small amounts stay in cents, for example 25¢, 50p or 50 c, which is easier for a child than 0.25. Larger amounts are written as in the country of the currency, for example $2.50 or £2.50; euros follow the language of the book, for example 2,50 € in French. The ruler stays in inches in English and in centimeters in the other languages.
