Kids Maze Book Generator for Amazon KDP

LogikLand is a kids maze book generator for Amazon KDP publishers. The Kids Maze wizard builds progressive maze books for three age groups, 4-6, 6-8 and 8-10 years, with a grid size for each group, a solution page for every maze, and a print-ready PDF or an editable PPTX file at the end.

The difficulty of a maze depends on its grid size: a larger grid makes a longer, harder maze.

Choose your options, then click Generate mazes. Your mazes appear here, ready to print or to download as a PDF. S is the start and E is the end.

Which grid size for which age?

The grid size is what makes a maze easy or hard. The sample generator above offers the three grid sizes that the Kids Maze wizard starts with, one for each age group. In the wizard you can change them.

Age groupDefault gridWhat it feels like
4-6 years7x7Short mazes with a path that a child can follow with a finger. The first ones build confidence.
6-8 years10x10More turns and a few dead ends. A good size for children who already love mazes.
8-10 years15x15A real challenge that asks for patience: longer paths and more places to take a wrong turn.

These are starting points, not rules: children of the same age enjoy very different levels, which is why a book that grows slowly from small to large grids is more useful than a book with a single size.

What a LogikLand kids maze book includes

  • Three age groups, 4-6, 6-8 and 8-10 years, each with its own number of mazes and its own grid size.
  • A single level for the whole book, or several age groups in the same book, so that it gets harder as it goes.
  • The age group shown in each maze title, on a separator page before each group, or not shown at all.
  • One maze per page, with a matching solution page for each maze.
  • An optional "How to Play" page for young readers.
  • A book in English, French, Spanish, German or Italian, on 8.5 x 11 or 6 x 9 inch pages.
  • A page counter that compares your book with the page limit of your plan.
  • A visual editor, then a PDF or an editable PPTX file.

Tips for a kids maze book that parents want to buy

  • Start easy. Put the smallest mazes first, so that a child finishes the first pages alone and wants to continue.
  • Say the age range clearly in the title and on the cover. Parents often shop by age, and a book for 4-6 years is not a book for 8-10 years.
  • Give each maze room. One maze per page, on an 8.5 x 11 inch page, leaves space for large hands and thick crayons.
  • Keep the lines bold and the contrast strong, so that the mazes print clearly. Pick a path color that stands out for the solution pages.
  • Keep the solutions. Parents like to check the path when a child is stuck, and a book without answers feels unfinished.
  • Think about a series. Three books, one for each age group, are easier to explain and to promote than one book that tries to do everything.

Margin requirements depend on your trim size and page count, so check the official Amazon KDP guidelines and preview your file in the KDP previewer before you publish.

Kids maze book generator: frequently asked questions

How do I create a kids maze book for Amazon KDP with LogikLand?

Open the Kids tab of your LogikLand dashboard and start the Kids Maze wizard. Choose the language, the title and the page size (8.5 x 11 or 6 x 9 inches), decide whether to add a How to Play page, then choose a single level or several age groups. For each age group you set the number of mazes and the grid size, and you choose how the levels are shown. Click Generate Book, adjust the result in the visual editor, then download a PDF or an editable PPTX file.

Is the kids maze generator free?

The sample generator on this page is free and needs no account. The Kids Maze wizard is in your dashboard once you have an account, and the maximum number of pages per book depends on your plan: see the Pricing page. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.

Which grid sizes should I use for each age group?

The Kids Maze wizard starts with 7x7 grids for ages 4-6, 10x10 grids for ages 6-8 and 15x15 grids for ages 8-10. You can change the grid size of each age group, so you can make a book that is easier or harder than the default.

Can I put several age groups in the same book?

Yes. In multi-age mode you choose how many mazes you want for each age group. You can show the age group in each maze title, add a separator page before each group, or show nothing, so that the book becomes progressively harder from the first page to the last.

Does every maze come with a solution?

Yes. Each maze has its own page, and the wizard creates a matching solution page for it, so parents and teachers can check the path.

Can I sell the kids maze books I create?

Yes, with a PRO or EXPERT plan, which include commercial rights: you can publish and sell your books on Amazon KDP, Etsy or your own website. The free samples on this page, and anything created on the FREE plan, are for personal use.

Can I make a book with mazes, Sudoku and word searches?

Yes. The Kids Mixed wizard combines several puzzle types in one activity book, with age groups. Watch the kids activity book tutorial on our YouTube channel to see how it works.

Which formats and page sizes can I export?

You can export a PDF or an editable PPTX file, in 8.5 x 11 inch or 6 x 9 inch page sizes. Amazon KDP margin and bleed requirements depend on your trim size and page count, so check the official KDP guidelines and preview your file in the KDP previewer before you publish.
