Watch the tutorial
In this tutorial you see how to mix difficulty levels in one book, and how Sudoku books for kids (4x4 and 6x6 grids), for seniors (large print) and for experienced solvers (9x9 grids) are different products.

How to play Sudoku
A Sudoku grid is divided into rows, columns and outlined blocks. Some cells already contain a digit. Your goal is to fill the empty cells so that each row, each column and each outlined block contains every digit exactly once. A 9x9 grid uses the digits 1 to 9, a 6x6 grid uses 1 to 6, and a 4x4 grid uses 1 to 4.
- Start with the digits that appear most often in the grid: they leave fewer places for the others.
- Look at one block, one row or one column at a time and list which digits are still missing.
- When a cell has only one possible digit left, write it in and update its row, column and block.
- On hard grids, write small pencil marks for the possible digits and cross them out as the grid fills up.
In a LogikLand book, the optional "How to Play" page gives your readers these rules, so you do not have to write them yourself.
Choosing difficulty levels and layout
Beginners need grids that give many digits at the start, while experienced solvers want grids that are hard to crack. A multi-level book lets you serve both: start with the easiest puzzles, show the level on separator pages, and finish with the hardest ones. For young children, the Kids Sudoku wizard offers 4x4 and 6x6 grids by age group. For senior readers, the Large Print wizard uses extra-large print and one puzzle per page.
For the layout, one or two puzzles per page give larger grids that are easier to read, while four or six per page make a more compact book. Printing cost on Amazon KDP grows with the page count, so putting several solutions on each page keeps the solutions section short. Margin requirements depend on your trim size and page count: check the official KDP guidelines and preview your file in the KDP previewer before you publish.
