The Large Print Sudoku wizard builds books of 9x9 grids at the Easy, Medium and Hard levels, with one puzzle per page by default, larger titles, generous margins and solution pages, and exports a print-ready PDF or an editable PPTX file. What large print means in a LogikLand book
A large print Sudoku book is read by people who want to see the grid clearly and to write in it comfortably. In the Large Print Sudoku wizard, that comes from the layout:
- One puzzle per page by default, so the 9x9 grid fills most of the page. You can choose 2 or 4 puzzles per page.
- Larger titles for the book, for the level pages and for the solutions pages.
- Margins of 0.75 inch to start with, which you can change in the wizard.
- Solutions grouped on their own pages, with a choice of 2, 4 or 6 per page.
- A visual editor where you can move and resize elements before you export.
Before you write large print in the title of your book, read the current guidance of Amazon on what qualifies, so that your listing says what your interior really is.
The three levels, with the real numbers
In a 9x9 Sudoku, the level depends on how many digits are already in the grid: the fewer they are, the harder the puzzle. In the current LogikLand generator, a grid starts with these numbers of given digits, out of 81 cells:
| Level | Given digits | What it feels like |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 37 | Many digits are already in place, so the solver almost always has a next move. A good level for a first large print book. |
| Medium | 34 | A few digits fewer and some moves that need a second look. The level most regular solvers pick. |
| Hard | 29 | The solver has to think ahead, and pencil marks start to help. |
A multi-level book lets you start gently and finish with harder grids: put the Easy puzzles first, mark each level with a separator page, and end with the Hard puzzles.

Tips for a large print Sudoku book that readers enjoy
- Choose the layout first. One puzzle per page is the most comfortable choice for a large print book, even if the book gets longer.
- Use a strong contrast. Black digits on a white page, with bold grid lines, print more clearly than anything decorative.
- Keep the book approachable. A "How to Play" page and a first section of Easy puzzles welcome readers who have never solved a Sudoku.
- Think about series. A book of Easy puzzles, one of Medium puzzles and one of Hard puzzles are simpler to describe than one book that mixes everything.
- Choose 2 solutions per page if you want the answers to be as easy to read as the puzzles, or 4 or 6 if you prefer a shorter book.
Margin requirements depend on your trim size and page count, so check the official Amazon KDP guidelines and preview your file in the KDP previewer before you publish.
