Maze Book Generator for Amazon KDP

LogikLand is a maze book generator for Amazon KDP publishers. You choose the language, the page size, the grid size, the colors and the layout, LogikLand generates the mazes together with their solutions, and you export a print-ready PDF or an editable PPTX file.

The difficulty of a maze depends on its grid size: a larger grid makes a longer, harder maze.

Choose your options, then click Generate mazes. Your mazes appear here, ready to print or to download as a PDF. S is the start and E is the end.

How to solve a maze

A maze is a network of corridors with one start and one end. Your goal is to draw a continuous line from the start to the end without crossing a wall.

  • Look ahead with your pencil before you draw: follow a corridor with your eyes to see whether it ends.
  • When you reach a dead end, lightly mark it so that you do not enter it again.
  • Try working backwards from the end: a path that looks open from the start may close near the exit.
  • Take your time at crossroads and keep track of the turns you did not take.

In a LogikLand book, the solution pages let your readers check their path, so they are never stuck.

Choosing the grid size and the layout

The grid size is the main way to set the difficulty of a maze. As a starting point, small grids (around 8x8 to 12x12) suit young children, medium grids (around 15x15 to 20x20) suit most readers, and large grids (25x25 and more) are for adults who like a real challenge. A multi-level book lets you offer all of them in the same product, from the easiest mazes to the hardest ones.

For the layout, one maze per page gives thick, easy-to-follow lines, which matters for children and for senior readers, while two or more per page make a more compact book. Use a strong contrast between the walls and the page so that the mazes print clearly, and pick a path color that stands out from the walls: it is used to draw the solutions. Margin requirements depend on your trim size and page count, so check the official Amazon KDP guidelines and preview your file in the KDP previewer before you publish.

How do I create a maze book for Amazon KDP with LogikLand?

Open the Maze wizard in your LogikLand dashboard, choose the language, the title and the page size (8.5 x 11 or 6 x 9 inches), set the number of mazes and the grid size, pick the maze shape and your colors, then click Generate Book. Your project opens in the visual editor, where you can adjust it and download a PDF or an editable PPTX file.

Is the maze generator free?

Yes. The maze generator is available on every plan, including FREE, and the sample generator on this page needs no account. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.

What grid sizes can I use?

In the wizard you can choose any grid size from 5x5 up to 40x40, and create up to 500 mazes in one book. A larger grid makes a longer and more difficult maze.

Can I make a maze book with several difficulty levels?

Yes. In multi-level mode, each level uses a grid size that grows with the level, so you can put easy and hard mazes in the same book and show the level in the puzzle titles, on separator pages, or not at all.

Are solution pages included?

Yes. The solution pages, with the path drawn in the color you choose, are added at the end of the book. Every maze also has its start and end points marked on the page.

Can I choose the colors and the shape of the maze?

Yes. You can choose thin walls or thick blocks, the color of the path and the color of the walls, and decide whether the maze adapts to the page ratio or stays square.

Can I sell the maze books I create?

Yes, with a PRO or EXPERT plan, which include commercial rights: you can publish and sell your books on Amazon KDP, Etsy or your own website. The free samples on this page, and anything created on the FREE plan, are for personal use.

Which formats and page sizes can I export?

You can export a PDF or an editable PPTX file, in 8.5 x 11 inch or 6 x 9 inch page sizes. Amazon KDP margin and bleed requirements depend on your trim size and page count, so check the official KDP guidelines and preview your file in the KDP previewer before you publish.
