The LogikLand word games workbook puts 5 kinds of word puzzles in one book: word search and crossword by theme, picture word search, picture crossword and mixed-up letters. The grids grow with the level, the words come from a list made for children, and the answer key is added at the end.
Every grid is made for its page, and the word searches are checked so that every word appears only once. The pictures below are real pages made by the generator.
Ages 6 to 11
A grid and a list of words on one theme, such as animals, food, school or holidays, with a box to tick for each word found. The grid is 9 x 9 with 6 words at ages 6-7, then grows each year up to 13 x 13 with 14 words at ages 10-11.
The directions follow the level too: right and down only at ages 6-7, diagonals from ages 7-8, backwards words from ages 8-9, and all 8 directions from ages 9-10.
Ages 6 to 11
A crossword on one theme with Across and Down clues written for children, for example “An orange vegetable that rabbits love”. Up to ages 7-8 the words come from the list for ages 6-8; from ages 8-9 the words for ages 8-12 are added and the crossword uses the settings for older children.
Ages 6 to 10
The letters of the name of a picture are mixed up: the child writes them in the right order in the boxes. Words of 3 or 4 letters at ages 6-7, 4 or 5 at 7-8, 5 or 6 at 8-9 and 5 to 8 letters at 9-10.
Ages 6 to 10
A word search where the list of words is given as pictures: the child has to name each picture, then find the word in the grid. 8 x 8 grid with 5 words at ages 6-7, up to 11 x 11 with 10 words at ages 9-10.
Ages 6 to 10
A crossword where every clue is a picture. 4 words of 3 to 5 letters at ages 6-7, then 5, 6 and 7 words, up to 8 letters long at ages 9-10.
The word search grows with the child: bigger grids, more words and more directions each year.
A book with several levels has one section per level, in order. The picture word search, picture crossword and mixed-up letters can also be made as a book of their own from the Kids tab of the dashboard.
The workbook is printed in English, French, Spanish, German or Italian, and the words, clues and themes come from a word list written for children in each language, not from a translation. The picture puzzles use the name of each LogikLand drawing in the language of the book.
In the grids, letters are written without accents, as in printed word searches and crosswords.
In the answer key, the words of the word search are highlighted in the grid and ticked in the list, and the crossword grids are filled in. Each answer shows the page number of its puzzle.

Ages 6 to 11 (Grade 1 to Grade 5 for a book in English). The word search and crossword by theme go up to ages 10-11, the picture puzzles and mixed-up letters up to ages 9-10.
There are 17 themes, including animals, food, nature, weather and seasons, school, toys and games, the body, family, clothes, transport, jobs, sports and holidays. Each page picks one theme.
Yes. Untick the other worksheets in the word games workbook, or choose the Picture word search card in the Kids tab of the dashboard. The same goes for the picture crossword.
Yes. The word search is made again until every word of the list appears exactly once in the grid.
