How to Create a Geometric Patterns Coloring Book for Amazon KDP
Generate a coloring book of geometric patterns for adults. Each page is a mosaic of tiles, mirrored around the middle, drawn by LogikLand on the whole page.
Before you start
The Geometric Patterns wizard is available on every LogikLand plan, including the FREE plan, from the dashboard. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books on Amazon KDP, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.
There are 3 levels of detail: 3 tiles across with large areas, 5 tiles, or 8 tiles with thin lines. A coloring book has no solutions.
How to use this book
- Each page is a mosaic of tiles, mirrored around the middle of the page. Start wherever you like.
- Choose your own colors: there is no right or wrong answer, and no solution at the end of the book.
- Place a sheet of paper behind the page you are coloring if you use felt-tip pens.
These rules are printed at the start of your book when you add the “How to play” page.
Create your Geometric Patterns book step by step
- 1
Book settings
Choose the language of your book (English, French, Spanish, German or Italian), enter its title, select the page size (8.5 x 11 inches or 6 x 9 inches), and decide whether to add a short “How to solve” page.
- 2
Puzzles
Choose One level for a single difficulty, or Several levels to set a number of grids for each level in the same book.
- 3
Layout
Choose the title of each puzzle (name, level and number, or the number only). One drawing per page, on the whole page. You can leave the back of each page blank, so that felt-tip ink does not spoil the next drawing; the book then has twice as many pages. Then set the top, bottom, left and right margins, from 0.25 to 2 inches. A page counter shows the estimated length of your book compared with the page limit of your plan.
- 4
Generate, edit and export
Click Generate Book. Your project opens in the visual editor, where you can change texts, fonts and positions, save your work, and download the book as a PDF or an editable PPTX file.
Difficulty levels
| Level | What the puzzles look like |
|---|---|

| Medium | 5 tiles across |
| Hard | 8 tiles across, thin lines |
Tips for a Geometric Patterns puzzle book
- Keep the blank backs if your readers use felt-tip pens.
- Prefer the 8.5 x 11 inch format for the Hard level: the small tiles stay easy to color.
Margins and Amazon KDP requirements
Amazon KDP margin requirements depend on your trim size and your page count: the inside margin must be larger for thicker books. Check the official KDP margin guidelines, preview your file in the KDP previewer, and increase the margins in the Layout step if needed.
