How to Create a Word Pyramid Book for Amazon KDP

The Word Pyramid wizard is available on every LogikLand plan, including the FREE plan, from the dashboard. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books on Amazon KDP, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.

There are 3 levels, up to 5 or 6, 6 or 7, or 7 or 8 letters. On the Easy level, the first letter of each word is written. If readers find another real word with the same letters, it also counts.

• The top word is written. On each line, take all the letters of the line above, add the new letter shown on the left, and mix them to make a new word.
• On the Easy level, the first letter of each word is written.
• The letters of each line are fixed: if you find another real word made of the same letters, it also counts.

These rules are printed at the start of your book when you add the “How to play” page.

   Book settings

   Choose the language of your book (English, French, Spanish, German or Italian), enter its title, select the page size (8.5 x 11 inches or 6 x 9 inches), and decide whether to add a short “How to solve” page.

   Puzzles

   Choose one level or several levels. The number of pyramids per level is limited (20 on the Hard level) because our word list has few long chains, and a book should not repeat them.

   Layout

   Choose the title of each puzzle (name, level and number, or the number only). Pyramids: 1 or 2 per page (1 in 6 x 9 inches). Solutions: 1, 2, 4 or 6 per page (1, 2 or 4 in the Large Print edition). Then set the top, bottom, left and right margins, from 0.25 to 2 inches. A page counter shows the estimated length of your book compared with the page limit of your plan.

   Generate, edit and export

   Click Generate Book. Your project opens in the visual editor, where you can change texts, fonts and positions, save your work, and download the book as a PDF or an editable PPTX file.

Amazon KDP margin requirements depend on your trim size and your page count: the inside margin must be larger for thicker books. Check the official KDP margin guidelines, preview your file in the KDP previewer, and increase the margins in the Layout step if needed.
