How to Create a Honeycomb Letters Book for Amazon KDP
A honeycomb has 7 letters. Readers make words that always use the middle letter, and can use each letter as often as they want. At least one word uses all 7 letters.
Before you start
The Honeycomb Letters wizard is available on every LogikLand plan, including the FREE plan, from the dashboard. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books on Amazon KDP, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.
There are 3 levels: words of at least 3, 4 or 5 letters. Each honeycomb prints a goal, and the solutions list the common words we found. Readers may find other real words: they also count.
How to play
- Make words with the 7 letters of the honeycomb. Each word must use the letter in the middle.
- A letter can be used as many times as you want in a word.
- At least one word uses all 7 letters. The solutions list the common words we found: another real word also counts.
These rules are printed at the start of your book when you add the “How to play” page.

Tips for a Honeycomb Letters puzzle book
- Add the "How to play" page: it explains that letters can be reused.
- Combine it with Word Wheel in a word games series: the two rules are close but different.
Margins and Amazon KDP requirements
Amazon KDP margin requirements depend on your trim size and your page count: the inside margin must be larger for thicker books. Check the official KDP margin guidelines, preview your file in the KDP previewer, and increase the margins in the Layout step if needed.
