How to Create a Number Fill-In Book for Amazon KDP

Readers get a list of numbers, sorted by length, and place each one in the grid, one digit per square. No math is needed.

Before you start

The Number Fill-In wizard is available on every LogikLand plan, including the FREE plan, from the dashboard. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books on Amazon KDP, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.

One number or more is already written to start. A solver checks each grid: only one way to place all the numbers remains. There are 3 levels: grids of 11 x 11, 15 x 15 or 19 x 19.

How to play

  • Place every number of the list in the grid, one digit per square. Numbers read from left to right or from top to bottom.
  • One number is already written to start. Numbers are sorted by length under the grid.
  • There is only one way to place all the numbers.

These rules are printed at the start of your book when you add the “How to play” page.

Margins and Amazon KDP requirements

Amazon KDP margin requirements depend on your trim size and your page count: the inside margin must be larger for thicker books. Check the official KDP margin guidelines, preview your file in the KDP previewer, and increase the margins in the Layout step if needed.
