How to Create a Word Wheel Book for Amazon KDP

The Word Wheel wizard is available on every LogikLand plan, including the FREE plan, from the dashboard. Commercial rights, which you need to sell your books on Amazon KDP, come with the PRO and EXPERT plans.

There are 3 levels: 6, 7 or 8 letters. Each wheel prints a goal, and the solutions list the common words we found. Readers may find other real words: they also count.

• Make words with the letters of the wheel. Each word must use the letter in the middle.
• Each letter of the wheel can be used only once per word. Words have at least 3 letters (4 on the Hard level).
• One word uses all the letters. The solutions list the common words we found: another real word also counts.

These rules are printed at the start of your book when you add the “How to play” page.

   Book settings

   Choose the language of your book (English, French, Spanish, German or Italian), enter its title, select the page size (8.5 x 11 inches or 6 x 9 inches), and decide whether to add a short “How to solve” page.

   Puzzles

   Choose One level for a single difficulty, or Several levels to set a number of grids for each level in the same book.

   Layout

   Choose the title of each puzzle (name, level and number, or the number only). Wheels: 1 or 2 per page (1 in 6 x 9 inches), with lines to write the words. Solutions: 1, 2, 4 or 6 per page (1, 2 or 4 in the Large Print edition). Then set the top, bottom, left and right margins, from 0.25 to 2 inches. A page counter shows the estimated length of your book compared with the page limit of your plan.

   Generate, edit and export

   Click Generate Book. Your project opens in the visual editor, where you can change texts, fonts and positions, save your work, and download the book as a PDF or an editable PPTX file.

• Start the book with the Easy level: 6 letters and short words.
• Add the "How to play" page: the rule of the middle letter is the key.

Amazon KDP margin requirements depend on your trim size and your page count: the inside margin must be larger for thicker books. Check the official KDP margin guidelines, preview your file in the KDP previewer, and increase the margins in the Layout step if needed.
